- There are Hymn Sings held on Tuesdays at 2:30 PM where hymns are sung from both our hymnals, inspired by the themes found in that week’s Bible Lesson.
- Practice Prayer meetings are offered for participants to pray together on various topics. The group has prayed about a wide range of topics. There’s been prayers for specific events such as fires, shootings, or acts of political unrest, as well as, working to improve their individual character with such topics as prayerfully supporting the desire to “Think before speaking.”
- We also offer Periodical Writing workshops where guests and staff work on documenting ideas for articles and testimonies of healing to submit to our assigned editor at the Christian Science Publishing Society.
- Other activities include joyful movement classes, pet visits, feature & documentary films, special events such as themed parties, vocal or instrumental concerts, and annual school children performances.

Activities at Broadview are a vital extension of our Christian Science nursing ministry. Our activities provide inspiration and expression of Life, providing a sense of vibrancy and normalcy during a stay at Broadview. Bringing a larger sense of Life; spiritual, eternal Life, to each scheduled activity and event keeps things fresh and flexible to fulfill the needs of our community.
