We’d like to share a couple new developments at Broadview with you.
Firstly, Michael Fisher, Broadview’s Executive Director of 12 years, has accepted a similar position at Tenacre Foundation, a Christian Science Nursing facility in Princeton, New Jersey. The Broadview Board of Directors is conducting a professional search for Michael’s replacement. In the meantime, Mark Schierloh, a very experienced individual, will continue to serve as Interim Executive Director.
Secondly, Broadview has developed a new business model that allows us to more effectively serve our community through our Christian Science nursing services; provide a more intimate, home-like environment for guests; and serve as a more economical facility than our current one. In order to finance this project, Broadview has explored selling a portion of the property, and has put it on the market. Broadview Christian Science Nursing Facility will remain in Los Angeles.
