Healing Moments – December 2016

Recently, I was putting away some dishes at work and felt a weird trembling and tingling in my arms. It was alarming, and at first I thought, “Did I carry something too heavy? Why am I having this weird sensation?” Immediately following those thoughts, however, came angel commands telling me not to look for a [material] cause. Inspiration from the Christian Science Bible Lesson, “Mortals & Immortals,” flooded into consciousness. I knew I wasn’t a mortal with a material body reacting to anything but an eternal idea, completely unfettered and undefined by matter in any way. The sensations stopped immediately and never returned. I was very grateful for the immediate effects of Truth made clear by our Lesson sermons!
Over the past few weeks, we have witnessed one of our guests attend activities, take meals in our common room, and spend some time outside each day with consistency. This is great progress as the individual previously had always wanted to stay in the room and not engage with others. We are so grateful to be a part of this forward step!
