The Broadview team of volunteers is made up of wonderful Christian Scientists from all over greater Los Angeles including some from right here, our Broadview residents, and others who pray for us are from as far as Florida and New York! We invited over a ninety people to this luncheon. About half of them work from home giving us prayerful support for a week as Volunteer Practitioners of the Week. However, some of those same individuals help out on activities, too. There is also a Metaphysical Committee of area Practitioners who pray with us regularly.
Our volunteers include our active, supportive Board that meets monthly with emails and phone calls in between.
The other 50 volunteers include the folks who read weekdays to groups or individuals, conduct our church services, supply music for services, hymn sings, or holiday performances, share their pets, help with clerical work and mailings, and assist in special events. The time commitment varies, but each one is vital to the whole and greatly appreciated.
