Director of Visiting Christian Science Nursing, So Cal. services

Upholds the spirit and practice of Christian Science nursing: Journal-listed with progressive experience. Faithfully embodies the By-Law for the “Christian Science Nurse” (Article VIII, Section 31) from the Manual of The Mother Church, and serves as a living example of its mission.
Serves as the Visiting Christian Science Nurse (VCSN) on duty: Offering in-home and online Christian Science nursing care to individuals seeking spiritual and physical support.
Leads and manages the Broadview Visiting Christian Science Nurse Service (BVCSNS) Program: Oversees all aspects of the BVCSNS, including administration, patient care decisions, staffing, scheduling, training, and procurement.
The Ministry is across Southern California: The DVCSN ensures the smooth operation and spiritual integrity of the BVCSNS throughout the greater Southern California region (except for Los Angeles). Works harmoniously with other related organizations to ensure seamless communication and service to all.
Engages with the Christian Science Field and church community: Maintains meaningful contact with church members and the broader field through daily interactions, workshops, and talks — offered as needed or requested by the Executive Director.

Provides daily metaphysical support: Offers consistent, specific metaphysical treatment and prayerful support for the BVCSNS and its healing mission.
Responds to patient inquiries with grace and efficiency: Receives, evaluates, and processes incoming requests for care, ensuring timely and appropriate responses.
Coordinates patient visits with support Christian Science Nurses: Collaborates with support VCSNs to schedule weekly visits, ensuring continuity of care and harmonious operations when the DVCSN is unavailable.
Oversees all aspects of patient care: Maintains the highest standards of Christian Science nursing, ensuring care aligns with accreditation requirements set by The Commission.
Collaborates across departments: Works in close partnership with the Executive Director, staff, and business office to support the smooth functioning of the BVCSNS.
Supports families and practitioners: Maintains thoughtful and respectful communication with patient families and Christian Science practitioners as needed.
Prepares reports and attends meetings: Submits monthly written reports on the BVCSNS activities for the Board of Trustees and Broadview’s Annual Meeting. Attends monthly Board Meetings in person or via Zoom.
Inspires through healing and leadership: Embodies Broadview’s healing mission in their daily ministry, uplifting coworkers and the public, and encouraging others to live and serve with spiritual purpose.
