In March, The Principia’s Arts on Tour group put on a private show for staff and guests during their spring break visit to Southern California. It was a HUGE treat! In spite of it being their travel day from St. Louis to Los Angeles, the group arrived fresh, energetic, and enthusiastic. Nineteen talented high school and college students filled the building with rich, vibrant tones. The wide styles of music included a capella version of Billy Joel’s “The Longest Time,” an aria, piano solos, and a lively New Orleans-style “When the Saints Go Marching In” by the jazz band. As wonderful as the music was, perhaps the most inspiring aspect of the event was witnessing the students interact with our guests at the end! We hope they’ll come back, again!
