What is extended care?
Where would I actually be living?
You can choose from a variety of comfortable rooms located in a separate wing of our main building. These rooms are in a beautiful, quiet setting amid 11 acres of trees, flowers, and walkways. A wide range of living arrangements are available, including rooms of different sizes, rooms with balconies or private patios, and suites. All rooms have private baths. All rooms are funished but residents can bring their own funiture if they wish. Each room has a state-of-the-art call system that prompts a nuirse visit whenever the resident signals a need. Residents live in harmonious, safe, beautiful surroundings with an extended family that also loves Christian Science and supports healing.
What support is there for continued study of Christian Science?
Broadview maintains a quiet, peaceful atmosphere that is conducive to study and prayer. Every room has audio access to the Weekly Bible Lesson, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and hymns 24 hours a day. A well-stocked Reading Room includes the latest periodicals as well as Bible reference materilas and a complete set of bound volumes of Christian Science literature. There are also Sunday church services, Thursday testimony meetings, and hymn sings. It is expected that all residents will continue to grow and progress. They will be encouraged to work closely with a Christian Science practitioner as needed.
Who will be providing the care?
All care will be provided by trained Christian Science nurses under the supervision of a Christian Science nurse who has qualified to be listed in The Christian Science Journal.
